    Responsible and accountable for accurately communicating (verbal and written) all customer requirements.


    • To provide superior customer service to assigned customer base through quoting, order entry, and problem resolution (complaints, returns, delays, etc.). To develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with all external and internal customers.
    • Continually expanding your knowledge of company products, processes, systems and procedures. Under direct to moderate supervision provides all aspects of customer service which includes quoting, order entry, problem resolution, and any requests for information regarding order or account status, quality, logistics, credit and accounts payable as well as any other request which may fall outside of these categories.
    • Accountable for work quality and accuracy with ongoing effort for continued error reduction which is measured throughout the order lifecycle using audit and order non-conformance data.
    • Initiates proactive calls to new and existing accounts in support of selling and service strategies.
    • Responsible and accountable for knowing and adhering to all corporate, department, quality, and regulatory policies.
    • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.



    • Two to four year undergraduate degree in Business preferred, High School Diploma required


    • One plus year phone-based undergraduate degree in business preferably in a manufacturing environment
    • Develops knowledge and skills in basic practices and procedures within own department or area
    • Applies basic technical skills and knowledge to complete assigned work
    • Computer literacy including: internet navigation and research; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); database use and information retrieval; mainframe application; SAP
    • Solves routine problems by using standard procedures and/or processes
    • Responds to standard requests from internal and external customers
    • Manages own time to meet deadlines through guidance of others within a specified timeframe
    • Works with others within own area or department to achieve team goals; scope of basic knowledge and skills
    • Consistent motivation to serve customers
    • Ability and desire to learn quickly and retain information
    • Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions
    • Quality orientation, attention to detail and the ability to “get it right the first time”
