    Kelly Services has a customer located in Oakville who is looking for an HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic consultant and coach to business leaders and employees on all human resources related activity such as workplace culture, engagement, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation philosophy and execution, employee learning, and development priorities in support of business strategy   

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Build relationships and partner with the business to understand the business strategy and to deliver appropriate, timely and high-quality HR Solutions
    • Educate and coach employees and managers on core HR processes including (but not limited to) Talent Management, Development and Performance Management, Salary Review, Short-/Long Term Incentive
    • Leverage knowledge of HR and business practices to influence the best outcomes for the organization
    • Collaborate with human resource "centers of excellence" (i.e. Compensation, Talent Acquisition, etc.) as needed
    • Contribute to setting and executing on strategy for employee engagement and culture
    • Facilitate the development of organizational structure in support of business growth and continuously review the structure to ensure it is meeting the dynamic needs of business 
    • Drive the utilization of performance management tools within company and lead talent review and succession planning initiatives
    • Coach managers and employees to fully leverage performance feedback and coaching to drive improved results
    • Provide advice to managers and Talent Acquisition to support managers with ongoing recruitment and selection strategies
    • Support employee development and career progression
    • Develop and/or contribute to relevant people metrics and reporting
    • Prepare and deliver presentations, and facilitate training as required for local, regional and/or global programs
    • Participate in HR projects and/or company-wide initiatives as assigned
    • Develop and maintain HR tools, templates, process documentation and policies 

     

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Relevant post-secondary degree
    • Minimum CHRL designation or other equivalent certified HR related designation
    • Minimum of 7 years generalist HR and/or HR Business Partner experience ideally in a global company
    • Previous Pharmaceutical Industry experience a strong asset
    • Best practice HR partnering to deliver strong business performance
    • Skilled in developing HR plans/initiatives and aligning people management practices to support business objectives
    • Results oriented and able to deliver expected results in ambiguous circumstances
    • Broad experience in the entire employee life cycle as per relevant employment regulations (from recruitment to exit management, line management and employee consultation, labour laws, compensation & benefits, performance management, talent development, etc.)
    • Strong working knowledge of Employment Laws and Regulations required
    • Able to manage and interpret employment laws into pragmatic solutions and navigate line management through complexities
    • Experience with Workday preferred
    • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word
    • Fluency in French language an asset
    • Able to travel on occasion
    • Adaptable, agile an capable to deal with and communicate change effectively 
    • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
    • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to make timely and balanced decisions
    • Excellent communication, negotiating and influencing skills demonstrated by the ability to use a range of different approaches, to gain acceptance of proposals and decisions
    • Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team
    • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills combined with cultural sensitivity
    • Trusted confidante with high integrity and high degree of competence
