Administrative Project Support/Data Analyst

    Position Type: Full-time for approximately 3-4 months, possibly longer

    Work Location: St. Catharines and Oakville

    Salary: $20/hr

    OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION

    Were currently recruiting for an Data Analyst for one of our customers located in 2 offices - St. Catharines and Oakville. The successful candidate will be responsible for extracting data, identifying data anomalies and updating records.

    This role will be responsible for the accurate and timely extracting of data, manipulating of the data and report generating as well as uploading of data back into the system.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Review data extracts and compare results
    • Identify exceptions and recommend solutions
    • Summarize data collected
    • Pro-actively communicate with stakeholders
    • Maintain strict confidentiality
    • Recommend process improvements for more efficiency

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Post secondary training in a business or tech related field is preferred
    • Proficiency in MS office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
    • Experience working in a corporate environment and handling confidential information
    • Proficient communication skills - both oral and written
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Able to work with limited supervision
    • Advanced level of customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Proactive - anticipates and initiates action to meet needs
    • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
