     Priority: The Field Materials Coordinator is responsible to support the overall Logistics and Material Management function for pipeline materials, including collaborating with the Infrastructure& Logistics team for stockpile management, delivery and acceptance of pipeline materials and requisitioning other materials as required. This role will adhere to the Project Materials Management Plan. Scope: Responsible for working collaborative with all stakeholders (Calgary based project members, site based project members, Prime Contractor and their team, our Project Materials Planner and others to set, adjust and report on project materials and other materials management metrics related this project. Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Procurement Manager and is an individual contributor role. However this role is field based and will take day to day direction from the Construction Manager and Field Based Project Manager.    • Implementation of Field Materials Management duties, collaborates with all key stakeholders to manage project materials located in various storage locations. • Enter Good Receipts in SAP within 2 days of receipt of MRR’s. • Create Material Requisitions using standard form and submit to Calgary Procurement team to fulfill as required. • Reports directly to the Manager of Procurement. • Ensure all site contractors under their care are complying with TCE safety procedures and properly implement all safety requirements while handling any material and/or equipment. • Ensure material handling requirements are met, ie. bin arrangement, laydown areas, and the effective storing/retrieving/preservation of materials are being executed by the Prime contractors to TCE requirements. • Ensure the material receiving process is be followed and that proper care, custody and control (CCC) is implemented for all material while in storage. This includes the preservation requirements of all said material by the Prime Contractor. • Ensure Material Receiving Reports (MRR) are issued within the time permitted noted in the Prime contract and structured to the format needed for SAP integration. Create and maintain project MRR Log. • Make certain proper reporting is provided in regards to overage, shortage, and damaged (OS&D) by the contractor within the time permitted noted in the service contract. • Material shortages must be promptly communicated. • Ensure Module and/or Fabrication Shop provides detailed identification and tracking information of all ship-loose module material is conveyed to Construction Management and Project Manager. • Oversee that inventory management is being carried out by all contractors including bin counts, consumables reordering, transfers, and stock corrections. • Assist with any Request for Information (RFI) and/or non-conformance report (NCR) issues. • Liaising with Construction Management regarding module and spool shipping dates. • Coordinate with Materials Planner to release material in accordance with Schedule and/or Construction needs. • Ensure procedures are maintained when material is issued to construction and that records are kept and properly filed.• Provide reporting in regards to project progress, construction sequence updates, and site mitigation plans. • Oversea that the Prime Contractors creates and maintains MM Logs for all material movements/issues, MRR, OS&D, NCR, transfers, scrap and surplus. • Confirm all material documents are being filed properly by the Contractors, this will assist in a smoother turn-over process. • Collaborate with contractors to manage all surplus material. Engage the business unit stakeholders to collect information and interpret customer material requirements regarding maintenance schedules and turnaround requirements. • Develop and maintain network of stakeholders to gain input into forecasting strategy development and to influence deployment of Stocking Strategies • Manage improvement plans based on material availability • Manages the creation and updating process for material and services masters as required. • Manage and continuously improve inventory deployment process to satisfy service level and cost objectives • Identify items suitable for disposition • Actively contribute to team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Ensure team compliance to training requirements, work standards, policies and procedures. • Other duties as assigned from time to time.
