Accounts Payable Clerk

    Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk seeking your next challenging opportunity? Kelly is actively recruiting on an Accounts Payable Clerk for a client located in the heart of downtown Toronto. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a competitive salary, benefits and pension package. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Review invoices and attach appropriate backing documentation to invoices, seeking approval prior to payment
    • Obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments
    • Coding invoices
    • Prepare and process cheques
    • Online transfers and data-entry of payments
    • Reconcile credit card and bank statements
    • Perform other duties and tasks assigned or required as are consistent with the nature and scope in the Finance Department

    Requirements:

    • 3-5 years of Bookkeeping or Accounts Payable experience
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to meet deadlines with a minimum of supervision
    • Strong knowledge of Simply Accounting
    • Must be proficient on MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Access)
